URI making miracle in box office

Its spectacular performance at the box-office, Uri: The Surgical Strike may well be considered a turning point in Vicky Kaushal’s film career. The war film is Vicky’s first Rs 100 crore-grosser as a lead star. He has achieved the feat in a career spanning almost three and a half years, which is absolutely phenomenal.

After a 13-day run at the box-office, its total collection stands at Rs 126.9 crore. It has now surpassed the lifetime collection of Raazi (Rs 123.84 crore).

The Meghna Gulzar directorial had Vicky playing the role of a Pakistani Army officer who was married to Alia Bhatt’s character of an Indian spy. In this film, he plays an Indian Army officer.

The movie is declared to be the first Blockbuster of the year.
